Course Objectives

The questions and answers in this book introduce basic Christian beliefs useful for children and new converts.

Introduction

There are many ways to have family worship together. This is one possible family worship sequence in which these tools can be used:

  1. Sing a hymn.
  2. Recite the Apostles’ Creed.
  3. Work on memorizing a section of the questions and answers.
  4. Read a chapter or section in the Bible. (Start by reading through the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.)
  5. Pray together. Before praying, ask family members what they would like to pray about. (You can say, “How can we pray for you?” and “How can we pray for others?”)
  6. Conclude with the Lord’s Prayer.
